This series has very bad chapters and this is one of the worst. Shame on you.

what the hell, a musical episode again. if I wanted that shit I would watch a musical not that show.

I'm 3 minutes into the episode and I cannot do this. Another musical episode with no storyline? No. Just NO!! What next? Riverdale on ice? Omg, if the writers have ran out of ideas, why can't they just write a good final season and cut their losses?

Edit: I skipped through the whole thing, so let me save you the grief of watching. All you need to know is that Betty and Archie kiss and realize they may have feelings for one another. Then, skip to 40:45 and watch the last few minutes.

Yet another musical episode.
It's a no from me.

Hey, remember that video plotline well its... what... no... NO they're all singing!! NOOOO PLEASE MAKE IT STOP

loading replies

In all honesty the musical episodes make sense in a show where nothing really makes sense.

loading replies

Musical episode... Hell no, not again. I'm out of here.

loading replies

Anyone else have no idea what this show is about anymore? I'm totally lost.

loading replies

Why do they insist in the musical thing?

loading replies

they need to stop this. i cannot explain how horrible i find these musical episodes to be OMG

loading replies

Why don’t they listen to the viewers and stop with these musicals?

What the hell, again? Approximately what, every 90 - 120 seconds they have to sing? On that note, Kevin has a great voice and Jug is pretty good too, but I'm NOT watching this show for singing.

Horrible episode with nothing accomplished except trying to show younger audience that you can cheat on who you're with? Or Archie will try and get with any and every female he comes into contact with? Betty likes to cheat on who she's with?

Also I guess they were trying to hint at the end that the stalker knows that Betty cheated on Jug by showing in the video that she sneaks up behind him and starts "stabbing him in the back"!

I put it on “oh it’s a musical episode.” “Turns it off.”

I don't know who told the directors and showrunners or whoever responsible of the production that doing musical episodes were good ideas. They should listen to their audience and stop doing musicals again. I skipped every scene that had singing and dancing in it. It's not entertaining and it doesn't add any value. We're interested/invested in the plot and events that are unfolding. Nobody wants to hear this, at least the majority of us.

If you haven't watched it yet, don't waste your time you can skip this one.

definitely not as good as the carrie or heathers episodes. the only song i really enjoyed was ‘the origin of love’. i wish they’d chosen a more well-known musical or one with a storyline more relevant to riverdale

Terrible. This music was awful. Also, the idea that so many students would dress up in drag to protest Mr. Honey's restrictions, especially students like Reggie, is laughably naive and wrong on just about every level.

I get that The Archies are part of classic Archie comics. But, purely in the context of this show alone, the idea that Archie would randomly decide to force his friends to form a band with him, and then name the band after himself, is insane.
KJ Apa's guitar playing miming was significantly worse in this episode than it has been in the past.

Veronica's idea that Archie should be responsible for forcing her father to go to the doctor is ludicrous. On what planet should the teenage boyfriend have that responsibility?

Why would anyone bother watching these hours-long video tapes of their houses anymore? Like, I get checking out the first out of curiosity, and then checking the second to see if it was the same. But they're known quantities at this point. People would just toss them out.

And... Skip. Skip. Skip.. oh!! They are talking! Let’s play it now. Damn! Singing again. Skip. Skip. Skip..

Seriously. What’s this thing that many American TV shows must throw down our throats very unneeded (and crappy) Musicals?? Forget it!! Broadway didn’t want you! You aren’t good! Leave us in peace!!

The CW is “so brave” and better than everyone. That’s why they look through past comments someone said on Twitter, as an excuse to fire them.
Anyway these musical episodes are horrible. Yet, the creators are forcing it on us in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina as well.
Archie is so forgiving that he kisses Hiram’s ass every season. After all he has put him through. I am sure Hiram will back stab him again.

This is the first musical episode that I liked... no... loved! The story didn't feel as forced as the previous musical episodes. I loved seeing Kevin take on a bigger role and he DELIVERED! The songs were good, nicely performed. I was actually sad it was over.
