Omg wtf is this???
Didn't they get the memo that this is the final season so as to start wrapping things up?
I had hoped that this '50s storyline would be over by ep 5 but they seem to be dragging it

What was up with the music in the first half of the episode? It was clearly shitty modern music.

I don't think 'gaslighting' was a term people used in the 50s...

Riverdale has always had a sexual component to it, but the fact that the season where it's so heavily revolving around sex is also the season that takes place in 1955 is... really, really fucking stupid.

So disappointed in this season :(
I haven’t laughed not one single time. Technically this season isn’t bad but it’s just normal, it’s like a soft reboot, I feel like this is how the show was originally supposed to be until it was spiced up with all the bizarre elements. I like that some characters get a do over and we get new storylines and interactions, like veronica and jughead, but if it’s the final season why not wrap things up, heal their wounds, give them good endings?
This would’ve been better if Jughead kept his memory and his mission was helping everyone remember episode by episode so by episode 6 or so everyone was on the same page and they were working on getting back to their timeline, if anything, they could have Jughead remember til 2017-18 when they were juniors too. But this show now feels so mild and boring, it’s just comic books and almost sex.

About this episode, Betty’s dad disgusts me so he being the one to caught Betty in the “act” disgusted me so much.
