That was super depressing. I'd think Max would do anything but have Liz break up with him. And considering everything he knows about the future, surely there was some tactical stuff up his sleeves. It's a good episode, though.
It's strange to see the actress play Liz-- such a grounded character--- when Shiri Appleby later gets the lead role to Unreal and plays this wild hard-core borderline, some might just say plain psycho. It's a very different side to the actress. Girl's got skill.
