So this show has me conflicted. If I look at the first and second half of the season separately they are both great. I feel like up until the finale they often surprised me because they crossed lines that most writers do not, such as killing off someone we thought was going to be a main character in the first episode, having the wife kill Rick, the ridiculous family dynamic and murders, etc. However, considering it is one season and not two, it was not cohesive at all. I was hoping this last episode was going to tie the two story lines together, but that didn't happen. The opportunity was there, especially considering detectives often are not working one case at a time which would lend authenticity. I also feel like the finale was the most stereotypical, which is heart breaking cause I was totally amazed up until this point. It's honestly like they tried to throw every serial killer crime drama cliche into one episode, like why do that? So although I don't know how to feel, I hope Jenny is OK cause I'm here for Katheryn Winnick and I hope the writers are able to fix these major plot holes in season 2.
