Has gotten to politically correct for my liking!
Shows like this are exactly why people are turning en masse to Netflix and Amazon along with other channels like SyFy etc. instead of the old duds like CBS/NBC/ABC that keep spewing crap.
High intensity cop show that I wasn't expecting, good story with characters that you could like, and I always fine Shemar Moore to be a likeable guy but he fits the role well as a serious leader of the SWAT team in LA put in a tough spot. For the first episode its off to an action packed start, lets hope they keep this going.
Not your typical cop drama, and the right amount of action to enjoy the thrill ride.
The acting is horrendous, which is a pity as the budget is clearly big enough to make a decent shot of this. Way too much of Shemar Moore. He's a terrible actor.
The story behind 'street', of how he ended up on the team is weak and poorly thought out.
The whole series, while watchable, never once attempts to avoid the cheese, cheesy poses, cheesy one liners, cheesy shots of Shemar Moore with his top off for no story related reason.
Gave up on this show. Too preachy. Every show on TV has become too political. I just want to be entertained. Not a fan of Shemar for this role.
Watchable show if you can get past all the woke crap and claiming what a bunch of great guys the black panthers were. Would be better with more deacon and less hondo

A cop show that is more on the sensible side of things, but really doesn't neglect the typical action and heroic moments in the process. It can be a bit cheesy at times though.
I managed to stand out and watch 5 bad seasons and then I gave up. Show to cheesy like other says and to much unrealistic events.
Sad this show could of been really good how ever they had to make it political, pushing false narratives on viewers.. Sad when all shows wanna do is degrade a race while saying they're trying to stop racism in the world.. you cant fight racism with racism.. Should get out more instead of hiding in a :tent::joy:
So GOOD really addictive, a good story with the ability to write many episodes
Consistently weak script. Who writes these episodes? They are so far from reality, I could write them better. I watch it for the simple drama but the show could be better. Please write it correctly, based on real police work, not from the fantasies of whomever is behind the scenes. Oui.

Love this show! When I first heard the theme song, I had flashbacks of watching the original with Steve Forrest. It was 1976 and I was running around with my SWAT themes outfit my parents got me. Those were the days...
There were a few good episodes in season one.
