Going into this I did not think I would like this at all but I loved it. I think this is my favorite performance from Drew Barrymore yet! Very binge worthy.
I did not expect it would be so fun, I'll finish in a single day!

I can't believe they canceled this. I signed a petition. This needs another season to a movie special to wrap-up. How can Netflix release the 3rd season and within weeks say that it's canceled???

A wonderful show. I’m so upset it’s been canceled. It made me laugh a lot, but it also made me want to know what was going to happen next. It surprised me many times.
Woah, this show suprised me but in a good way. Watched every episode right away. Hilarious, gross and full of amazing actors!
I think this is a great show, nothing negative to say about it. I think its exactly what would happen if such a thing happened to normal people. The show is hilarious.
i really kind of hate the parents. A lot. My favourite parts were the ones with Abby and Eric
The pilot is a mess, but then it gets better. The humour doesn't always work, but some moments are hilarious. Characters are nice and fun, even though I think Drew Barrymore is too much on the nose. Timothy Olyphant is adorable, though.

Such a quality, quirky series with a fun take on the tired zombie genre, ending on a cliffhanger that’ll never get resolved. I thought it was FANTASTIC.
Between, this, Sense8, and The OA, I’ve lost respect for Netflix as a streaming service. I may still watch their other programming, but I’ll cheer their competitors on even harder.
This show is hilarious, somehow always had good twists, and casted all top notch characters. Sure there is a bit of cannibalism but it's somehow the main thing but also not all that important. It was cancelled after only three seasons but they wrap it up very nicely.
Just finished both seasons. After a shaky first episode, the show's humor couldn't be more right in my wheelhouse, especially the way those earnest (and rather sweet) marriage/family/parent platitudes are extremely couched and allergorized in such deliciously absurdist zombie situations. Olyphant and Barrymore is such a great TV couple, and Olyphant is so note-perfect, especially in direct contrast with Justified's Rayland Givens, that his Joel Hammonds role here is fast becoming one of my favorite TV performances ever.

the over the top barfing and goriness, along with the happy music and corny interactions really set the tone for this fun watch of a show. perhaps the Bohemian approach to life or the lack of concern for etiquette is what's really appealing about this

Did have some funny moments, but felt very drawn out with too many unnecessary details/fillers.
I could only stomach four episodes of this tripe.
Everything in this is forced; the humour, the language and the grotesqueness, which are so rammed down your throat they make you gag. The worst of them is the humour though. I keep waiting for the canned laughter to kick in. It's so lame that if it were a horse it be would shot and turned into glue quicker than you could say Santa Clarita Diet.
The acting ain't much cop either.
This may have been watchable if we didn't have iZombie, but we do, so watch that instead.

A quirky horror show with a great cast and dark humor? Sign me up. DEFINITELY not going to be a show that clicks for everyone, but I loved it. The plot points and the situations are littered with charm and irony and that is something I personally really enjoy in shows and movies. I am personally really disappointed that this show is cancelled, because this really had the potential to be one of my favorites the further it got into the plot. Anyways, if you like dark comedies, you should check this show out!

This is such a great show that doesn’t take itself seriously and is so easy to watch. The cast are really strong here too.
It shows Netflix’s bad judgement / flawed approach to incomplete storytelling that they cancelled this. The finale reveals an interesting arc and then abruptly ends. I’m not one for demanding endless series but just rounding off the story would be nice.
Someone CONTINUE THIS SERIES PLEASEEE, it's too good to end like this, I need to see the Zombie Joel !!!!!!

First I was curious to watch, when I began to watch it I couldn't stop. It's Hillarious and the way that for them is everything normal and the husband and daughter are so ok with the situation. It's so funny. Drew Barrymore is great in this role and she makes it seem that its' perfectly normal everything that is happening to her. I love this show and I don't know why :) But if you want to have a laugh watch it.

Season One: 5.7. One of the most annoying shows I have watched in recent memory. I hated every single character, especially the Mom, who thinks she is so fucking funny, but is unironically horrendous. The over-the-too use of gore is used more for shock value instead of being used for funny moments or character development. More than half of he gore was made for you to cringe, not to laugh. It’s fucking gross. I hated this show. The Dad was the only redeemable person here. He’s an excellent comedic actor. But I hate Drew Barrymore so much here.
Zombie stuff has been done to death but the subtle comedy in this series and the fucking crazy ideas mom daughter and dad dig up are hilarious! Loved it! Timothy and Drew are so perfect !
My absolute favourite show right now. When it came out, I worried about the main casting but as soon as I started watching I realised how perfect Drew and Timothy were for the roles. It's hilarious. I binged watched all night, then watched it again the next day, and then again the next day with my sister. Honestly, this is my IT show right now. The one I'm obsessed with waiting for it to come back on.
I fucking love this show. Hooks you from the beginning! Not suffering, just a lot of laughs. I'm already eager for season 3.
Brilliant, bloody comedy. Timothy Olyphant is very funny and Drew Barrymore is hilarious and adorable, eating people in her plastic pink poncho.
The juxtaposition of the writing to the subject matter makes me burst out laughing at least once per episode. The mundanity of suburban life crossed with Sheila being a zombie is just so unreal, mixed with the superb writing.
IN LOVE WITH THIS SHOW. Highly recommend for dark, absurdist humour. The cast are on point and the jokes make me die!

This is pure nonsense! Yet, absolutely lovely! I'd say: lovely & absurd!
The setting (suburbs) and the funny nonsense reminds me a bit of Desperate Housewives. The show is not bad and not great. Just a show I suggest watching when you don't want to spend a full hour watching tv.
Binged watched in a day. I surprised myself that I enjoyed it this much. And some of the scenes did leave me a little grossed out- the first to do so in a very long time to this horror fan!

WOW Not at all what I thought it would be like. I'm hooked on this series. Can't wait for season 2. NETFLIX knocked it out of the park again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
When I first saw the trailer on Youtube I thought it was something about how to be healthy and have a better life. then the last trailer show a little more about the show. it really didn't got my attention.
One day I didn't have nothing to watch and give it a try. Finished all episode in few days. Super funny, gross, different from any other zombie movies/TV shows .
I recommended to watch it and by the way, is not kids friendly. really strong graphic and language.
Suprisingly enjoyable (considering the cast) light hearted zombie comedy very much along the lines of BrainDead.
...with the sh*ttiest ending of a series - even if you are lining up for Series 2. It leaves me worried that it is going to go downhill from here. It should have finished at S01, on a high.
But definitely recommended viewing if you are into this kind of thing. I was so suprised that I binged it.

I just finished watching the show, and my two cents: watch it. Here is why:
The main characters. Clarita, her husband and her daughter are living in a small town. Their neighbors are a bad ass cop, and a funny weed smoking good cop. The setting reminds me a little bit of Desperate Housewives.
They are a nice family but suddenly something changes. Clarita has no pulse, her body is cold. She cannot eat regular food. She is undead. The family to get through this together - in a funy way.
Can't say too much, because I do not want to spoiler anything. But its rly fun to watch, for example when she is eating a foot like a snack, or drinking a Smoothy.. but instead of fruits... its human flesh. I like the way they try to treat it as normal.
All characters are played well. I just don't really like her husband. I won't say its bad acting (well it is not the best), but something is wrong with this guy. It does not feel right. Even the boy next door feels more authentic than her husband. Thats rly the only downside of this TV show I can't find.
I wouldn't call it a Zombie TV Show, because there are so many Zombie movies and TV shows out, and it is very different to what I have seen so far of this "genre" ... if u want to call it like that.
If you are looking for a fun comedy show, which is also a little bit weird and crazy:
