Never liked Joel as part of the love triangle or anyhow else but damn. What a way to go out, probably the best way for this character. That the actor Gillies wanted out because filming The Originals is closer to his home and family doesn't make him more likable as the character that he was, although his decision is understandable.
Sad that Alex suddenly remembers everything for no reason than plot.
So, who's gonna be the character replacement for Joel now in S4? Hopefully not Dawn or Dana.
