Sometime in season 4, after they solved the love triangle issue story, when they rolled up the curse thing of Alex, I was longing for the end. The show became about Alex, Charlie was more background noise than anything else. S4 and S5 was the self-discovery, self-pity story of Drama-Alex and strayed away from what made this show interesting and made it annoying instead with her erratic behavior as the center of the stories. But this end is simply shit. It's on par with the HIMYM series finale for me.
Okay, great. Charlie was given more time after the first accident and Alex was blessed, not cursed. All fine and a nice little twist to this annoying "curse". But it still doesn't justify the crap we had to put up with in these last two seasons. These two very long seasons were basically the setup for this finale they knew they wanted to do. Yet the last few minutes were cheesy, cheap and simply lame. Just terrible and overly dramatic. They wrote two seasons as setup for this instead of bringing us good, sensible stories. They should have gone with the power gaining ghosts story. Props were always great, though. Sadly, I'm not gonna miss this show. But let's hope that our Stargate alumnus is getting another show soon.
Sooooo... They both die? That's how it ends? LOL Holy sh*t that was a sad episode!! Yes, I totes cried, so what? I didn't actually think Charlie was gonna die, you know?
