Philip Baker Hall as Seinfeld's famous library cop truly saves this episode, preventing it from being thrown into among the pit of mostly forgettable episodes that make up the early days of Seinfeld. There's another amusing side story with Kramer that goes nowhere but besides these, The Library doesn't give much else to gloat about.
"The Library man is Bookman?!"
Mr. Bookman is what makes this episode so dang funny.
How Jerry Seinfeld kept even a semi-straight face during Bookman's tirade at his apartment must have been an effort worthy of the Superman statue famously on the shelves behind him. :joy:

Probably the best cameo in any TV-Show ever.
