Don't know. Hm. Seems to me this didn't age well. Still, this isn't a feminist show only because the main protagonists and the narrator are women. Too often it fails the Bechdel test. Too often this show is very conservative. Too often these women don't feel real. This hasn't changed since episode one.

But ...iIt's sometimes funny. It's always entertaining and beautiful to watch (NYC, dresses, shoes, hair). And everyone likes at least one or two of the characters.

That said, this show is supposed to be about sex. And all the sex and kisses depicted are cringe. Most of the sex topic feel uninspired or concocted by men (who watch too much porn). And most episodes feel isolated. My younger self wasn't interested in this romantic overarching story arcs, but 20 years later those actually hold the show together. However, the only overarching plots I'm really interested in is Carrie/Big and Miranda/Steve relationships. It was clear from the beginning that Aidan is only a decoy. And Charlotte's relationship isn't interesting at all ('cause she and her husband are not human beings I believe). No wonder I couldn't even remember that Charlotte got married that early in this show.
