Still not sure whether that gay party is an insulting cliche or a lovely depiction of a sub-culture (perhaps not the right word) that was - if ever - depicted even worse in American TV 20 years ago. In hindsight, it didn't age well: idiots might get the impression that's what gay life is all about.
