THE MALEC TRAINING SCENE ENDED MY LIFE. It's everything I wanted AND MORE
Is it just me or do Alec and Magnus have more chemistry than Jace and Clary?
Also, and this is gonna sound creepy, if Jonathan can feel when Clary is being manhandled, what else can he feel? Is it pain specific or can pleasure come through their bond too? Cause that'd be beyond messed up. I feel gross just thinking about it. Another thing that made me feel gross? Jonathan peeking at Clary while they were changing and then being all YoU lOoK bEaUtIfUl. NO. no. Eww
Love that they made Jonathan a redhead too (I don't remember how he was described in the books, but for some reason, brunette comes to mind). But it was just a matter of time before someone realized they're shadowhunters. They did a crap job of covering their runes.
Clary should have been more delicate with Jonathan's feelings. I know she just wants to fight him head on, but this requires a more deft & cunning touch.
How to watch this episode and the others?
Rated 9 basically for Malec and that training scene that was MUCH better than any previous training we've seen so far... and then more Malec with breakfast in bed, more after-sex Malec in bed...
And of course Izzy + Simon. And that amazing hair-flicking-glamour from Clary. But these two episodes haven't been 'great', just had great scenes

Apart from the training scene and the last Simon scene, I really can't say the episode was good. I'm a huge fan of the series but these new episodes are nothing but mediocre.
