What is this crap about?
There are as many possibilities in the proposal as little capacity to take advantage of them. The balance between comedy and terror does not work, because it is neither terrifying when it has to be nor really funny when it intends to be. But the background of the apparitions as a metaphor for the depressions to which women are more prone, in apparently happy marriages, is not sufficiently exploited.
I had my doubts during the early episodes, but turned out this show is a campy fun through and through. The fast pace story, dysfunctional characters, and terrific visuals, all complement each other and make this show a highly entertaining experience. There's this kinetic energy throughout that reminds me a lot of Ash vs Evil Dead, only this is about family drama and midlife crisis. I definitely recommend!

Very good dark comedy Courteney Cox is perfect in this. The jokes land and the story is pretty solid. Please make a second season!

This was a decent show. The first season was a lot better than season 2, and I'm guessing season 3 would be worse yet, so probably a good decision to cancel. Loved all the actors with the exception of the daughter. She has to go down as one of the most annoyingly written characters of all time. And what's up with her voice? In season 1, with scenes of her and her Asian religious boyfriend, it sounded as if the tape was sped up when they were talking. I switched streams to make sure it wasn't a mess up. Nope, they were that annoying.

the show was a good find for a stormy day. I binged watched the first season. it's an interesting combination of horror and attempted humor. the gutter humor could go, so could extreme behavior of the female teenager. but hey, at least she is allowed to wear pants in season 2 lol seriously it's a good show, I'd recommend people check it out.
This show is great, you need to watch it. The way they keep a suspense going not knowing whats going on exactly is amazignly refreshing. Whoever wrote this deserves some major credit, it's original and refreshing. It's also easy watching with some interesting easter eggs. Absolutely love this!
yeah, I'm addicted to this show. Nice easy watching and intriguing enough to get you hooked. It's been a while since I saw a show that peeked my interests to this extent. It's well written
