Well, I'm disappointed to see there haven't been any cast changes since its debut season; if anything the clownish characters and weak humour is even worse. This episode wasn't even rescued by the guest cast; the three actors cast as the supposed children's TV presenters were all very unbelievable performances. The very enjoyable Father Brown deserved a higher calibre spin-off than this series is continuing to be.

As someone who grew up watching shows like this, I cringed and laughed in equal measure. The final scene was spot on and the writers clearly had fun with this one.
If you can't laugh at something like that, then this show isn't for you, and you need to learn to stop watching it.
