I really hope Season 3 gives us Melanie back full-time.

Oh but this ending made me want - no, need - more! Is Javi dead? Are they going to pull another Josie, please let him be alive. Javi is too pure to be treated like that. Damn you Joseph. Also doubt that Mel is really gone, she's a survivor. I don't see her simply walking out of there without some sort of plan. And lastly, poor Ruth. I've started to really love her. I still remember season 1 where I couldn't wait to see her suffer but now she's turned into a real badass and I admire her morals and loyalty to them.

Did anybody expect Sean Bean to survive this season?

This season was a dream come true for me :))

They didn't even acknowledge Javi's death

I get why Melanie is “death” so Alex can carry her legacie, but makes no sense they didn’t find her body…so I am faithful that she some how survive…

Interesting end to the season but I really hope this isn't the end for Melanie. I can see her legacy being carried on in Alex, Ruth and the others being poetic but God's she deserves better!

A brilliant, tense, exciting and action packed Season 2 finale. Many characters just went into full on beast mode - Andre and Ruth wink-wink - while others showed totally unexpected heroism ie. Javi. We learnt that engineers cannot fight even if their life depends on it and that LJ is not only a psychopathic killer but a real whore as well. With Audrey/Alex/Sykes gone she will definitely take on the leading villain sidekick / Wilford' bitch role. Would not be surprised if this would leave Wilford without a certain bodypart by the end of Season 3.

Meh, I can't see how a pirate train is a solution if it detaches ahead hours after the rendezvous...... Also reaching the station was supposed to be hard, not a breeze, and now suddenly Layton and Alex went twice and the train was still there for them?!! Seriously? The whole premise for the entire season for suddenly thrown out the window in the last few scenes..

Season one was way better crafted with less action nonsense. Also Melanie missing the whole season (and apparently more) was hugely detrimental to the show.

Allright, you did good Sean Bean, but there's one thing you can do better, please give us a good memorable death next season.

When this started I expected the worst, that it would have nothing to add and it would just become one of those remakes people (actively or not) forget ever existed. Luckily, after a bumpy first season, at least the story found its footing somewhere during this second season. It'll never have the same novelty factor but if the next act is in the same vein as this one and they don't try to drag it longer than necessary, it could end up being a nice complement to the original story.
