Wilford's a sneaky asshole and his reign of terror is about to begin.

Great episode, great acting. I felt the story was a bit weird and they just "gave Wilford the train" with little push back. Seemed weird. We'll see where this goes.

Well, shit. I had thought that's what happened so that they leave Melanie behind later on but the way it happened made it suck a lot more.

I'm guessing that's what will make Alex snap out of it and turn on Wilford.

I'm also keeping my hopes up that Ruth and maybe Miss Audrey will also have a role to play in all of this.

All right, so still no Melanie... what a build up! I hope it pays cause to be honest, the episodes without her are just meh.

Wilford's move was about to happen and now the people of the Snowpiercer will see exactly the type of person he is.

Ruth seems to be growing a lot and I think/hope that her story is going to be important.

They could have ended that episode when Layton rested his head.
Instead they glued another 4 minutes or so at the end, that seem entirely disconnected. We go from Layton to Roche, but with no real connection whatsoever... suddenly his family is put under? Like... that just happened and is supposed to make sense?
And Wilford gains a train this easily? Sounds fishy to me. Real fishy.

Plus... the show is over now. I mean what the heck do you want to add to that. There's no one with actual power who could dethrone Wilford/want to... other than maybe Audrey if she really still plays for Snowpiercer. Melanie, as we know, was left at the station. Which probably is a death sentence at this point. And Alex clearly isn't playing on Wilford's team anymore, but I don't think she has any real power. Whatever she can do, he can do, and better probably.

Just left with a lot of question marks at this point. Show seems a bit pointless now, but I guess they'll have to come up with something to get it going.

Wow awesome episode. Masterful strategy by Wilford

Felt everyone should have known it was a ploy by Wilford all along and they got his help anyways. Can we just bring back Melanie because shit about to turn for the worse now will Wilford in charge and they will see the man he really is.

Ben. Here to ruin the moment as per usual.

This episode we see Wilford in his full element - one sarcastic one liner one after the other - as his plot finally unfolds and Layton the Incompetent loses what he never really had. Still those final minutes were extremely well done. Exciting and tense and seeing Layton melt under the gravity of events unfolding was a classic. Yet I believe Wilford is making the biggest mistake of his life not drawering him - most likely in his infinite delusion of grandeur he would like to see Layton donning the hospitality uniform and acting as Lapdog No 2 next to Kevin, maybe adding a little bathtub fun as well... I am expecting a few difficult to watch borderline disgusting episodes now with Wilford is fully in charge ... all the while preparing us for Melanie's eventual return.
