New Eden? Are we all going to ignore impossibility of this? Temps rise - > snow and ice melts. With the world encased in ice, wouldn't new Eden be practically under water?
Wow every person really has a purpose to exist…Wilford was to bring together Melanie and Layton :) I hate to see Alex and Mel separate again, their goodbyes were so emotional…and Mel and Ben together again yes!!…I just hope that the explosion at the end is not the same device that freeze the entire earth at the beginning….=\
It seems like a series finale (I wonder if they didn't expect a renewal) . I don't know where the show can go from here.

Why is the show portraying Melanie as the bad guy when Layton has done nothing but lie to the passengers and act on a stupid „vision“. He's an awful leader and a boring main character, I don't understand why the writers push us to be on his side.
This season has been really shit. Seriously hope S4 steps it up.
So, we may have found a place on earth where we could try to live, but we don't really know if the climate there can actually support life or if the track to that place is ok. We could:
- send the track scaler we found Melanie in ahead to scout the track and gather scientific information in order to make an informed decision, or
- divide in factions and start killing each other.
Looks like Snowpiercer is back on being the allegory it was supposed to be.
Sad that it only felt like a real snowpiercer story on its last two episode. Good that season 4 is looking good now that they kind of hit the reset button and basically ended the season arcs, that for me is not good, totally.
Okay, we all knew Big Alice would make it.

I forgot to add…I loved the last 3 episodes of the season and the one with Melanie as flashback…in a few words, Melanie must be present to have an amazing season U_U

Damn it, Layton was right. That said this will be interesting to see unravel next season. What happens in those 3 months off the train? Just because the weather is good doesn't mean they can actually live out there.
How they resolved the potential war was amazing. It's such a simple solution really. It baffles me though that Ben stayed behind. Like ten seconds before he seemed to be all 'team Layton' and it only took Mel to say 'I'm yours' for him to do a full 180.
Now let's be honest... nobody is going to mourn LJ if she turns up dead. (I say IF because we know Snowpiercer has a habit of bringing people back from the presumed dead... Josie, Javi, Melanie... ) but I am going to miss the insanity and unpredictability that she brought.
I'm pumped for season four. This show has changed it's course once again and I'm really curious to see where they'll take us next. One thing is for sure though... I'm glad they brought Melanie back. Jennifer Connolly is just magnetic and Melanie remains one of my favorite characters. A spot she'll have to share with Ruth nowadays though.
It's a stupid death but I must say that seeing the end of Lilah was a joy.
What a way to kill of a season. The season was much better then the second in my opinion. But they should have stayed at episode 9. It's weird how as much as a complete season can happen in just one episode.
To this day I hear S4 still hasn't found a home to be broadcasted at, so we might as well regard this episode as series finale.
aside from Melanie acting as the dumbest character on the train this episode, the series finale was ok and I'm taking it at face value. Especially seeing a "new mysterious enemy" firing rockets - I find it hard to believe it'll be a good storyline so maybe it's ok we won't get to see it.
So I'll just say my goodbyes here - farewell snow piercer, you were ok with us.
I really hope there isn’t a season 4. In my mind those who chose New End live out the rest of their lives. The rest continue on snowpiercer until the track or train defuncts in a decade or two. I’ll be happy knowing that was the conclusion.
A terrible, contrived end to the story - Wilford is in charge again, no Melanie is in charge, no Melanie & Wilford is in charge and yet again somehow Layton is holding a spear against Wilford's aging throat. A very melancholic whining end as they separate the trains in two parts. Important to say that while all other reviews were expecting a 4th and final season the studio decided to bin and cancel the 4th season before it could air. May be it was due to some self criticism. There is a tiny hope that the 4th season might find a home on another network to air
if that thing in the end is what i think it is, we're off to an interesting season
