I'm proud of you Todd". It took a VERY long while, but it's nice to finally hear Margaret appreciating her son!
I'm over the moon about this episode; seriously, I have a stupid grin all over my face. This season has progressively gotten better, and this episode became the icing on the cake. It's so satisfying to see Margaret become named-partner and Todd get his P.I. license back. Also, it was so much fun seeing him play lawyer. Could they be foreshadowing a career change for Todd down the line? Being a P.I. seems so intricate to his DNA; I'm not sure how I would feel about that. Regardless, it was damn fun seeing him kick ass like that.
Todd, please listen to Francey; let Susan elope. I know it's a lost fight for me, but for now, I'll appreciate every little win I can get. Their relationship has remained the least interesting element of the show; there's zero chemistry, and that dumb kiss a few episodes back wasn't enough for me to root for them as a viewer. If anything, Todd deserves someone with clear feelings who won't play him like that. Overall, I'm glad this episode wasn't shadowed by some overdone cliché of Todd chasing Susan into the airport.
I can't say I didn't see that last scene coming. If they were aiming for the 'wow' factor, maybe they should have kept Harry out of the 'previously on' sequence for the last few episodes. There was a missed opportunity there that could have had a bigger impact. Obviously, they're setting the tone for the next season, as Margaret will have to juggle both Harry and Gus' feelings. Worst case scenario, she will wholeheartedly welcome back Harry and undo all the work she has done on herself.
Looking forward to season two!
THAT’S HOW IT ENDS?!?! Lfkwkdjqlxka AHHHHH

One of the most wholesome episodes of a wholesome show. When I started watching this show I was feeling 'it's the same as this and that show, so predictable' But the joy of seeing the interaction between Todd, Margaret and others is unexplainable. It's definitely not a show I would rewatch in a few years, but the wholesomeness smiles I get when watching it are unique.
