I appreciated the return of a previous supervillain in Scorpion. The whole vulture sucking the energy off people and making them practically old seemed a bit over the top and how Dr Connors used that to cure Spider-man's mutation was way too convenient. But in general, I liked the action and having multiple parties involved, like pretty much the second half of the season. It can get messy sometimes but still interesting. That being said, this season could've used some Peter Parker aside from his ongoing struggle with romance.

[7.3/10] Perfectly good season finale. The solution to Spider-Man’s mutation problem was mildly clever, with Vulture inadvertently absorbing the problem out of Spider-Man’s system after Dr. Connors reversed the polarity of his suit or whatever. And again, the body horror of having Toomes turn into the Man-Spider while in the vulture suit made for some cool imagery. Plus, Peter having to contend with being old was pretty abbreviated, but it’s always interesting to see a hero having to cope with some sort of limitation.
That said, this one suffered from the same flaw that pretty much this whole season has -- trying to do too much at once. Having Vulture going after Osbourne and trying to stay young, while Spider-Man is trying to recover from his premature aging was more than enough. I don’t know why you needed to throw in the Scorpion trying to return to his old self while hounding the scientist who made him that way (whom I barely remembered) at the same time you’re doing the same old “Peter can’t be there for Mary Jane and be Spider-Man routine.
It does lead to some good monster mash mix-em-up with Spider-Man fighting Vulture fighting Scorpion fighting The Lizard, but it quickly gets a bit convoluted in terms of what everybody’s plan is and who’s on who’s side and the end game when no one can (seemingly) really die on this show.
Still, while the back half of the episode gets a little overstuffed, and the tease at the end feels cheesy, this was a solid enough climax for Season 2 that comes up with a plausible-yet-comic-book-y cure for Spider-Man and ends the neogenic mania reasonably well.
Overall, Season 2 is a bit of a step down from the simpler but better executed stories of Season 1, but I can at least appreciate the show getting more ambitious in its season arcs, even if the way it tackles that ambition left something to be desired. Hopefully that improves in Season 3!
