[7.0/10] This short is cute enough, with its The Animated Series vs. Lower Decks/Old vs. New rivalry. But it’s also the least inventive and most inventive of any of these shorts. Having Tendi try not to step on the toes of the TAS crew is reasonably amusing. I appreciate the choice to include Arex and M’Ress, not to mention Scotty given how many one-off characters James Doohan voiced in the 1970s series. But their song to resolve it all isn’t anything to write home about, and the cameos from Riker and Sulu don’t have the same juice after the past couple of shorts.
