[6.2/10] Eh, at least this one has a decent gimmick. A villain who turns people into totems on his totem pole, and then hypnotizes them to rob various villages he travels to is something. The whole, “I learned an important lesson about not accepting gifts from strangers” moral is fairly tepid, but I suspect it those sorts of aesops were mandated by this point.
As ridiculous as they were, I do appreciate the “Strutters”, aka self-involved, colorful ostrich types. They were worth a laugh. And there was some cleverness and poetry in Wicket using a mirror to reflect the Totem Master’s ring beam back at him. Otherwise, this is pretty standard Saturday morning fare.
