The beginning of the Ascension plotline. A solid beginning it was too.
But the whole Harcesis plotline bugs me. The goa'uld symbiote already possesses the knowledge of the queen that spawned it. So what benefit would it provide a symbiote as a host? Especially one that fathered it in the first place.
It does not provide any metaphysical benefit beyond the knowledge that we ever learn of in the series, so it made for a rather foolish plotline.
