Lol Stupid SG-1 combat. Dude has the killing blow on Teal`c and he dances around like a fool and gets killed.

"This is a weapon of terror. It's made to intimidate the enemy."
"This is a weapon of war. It's made to kill your enemy."

Possibly the best single scene in the show.

A shame the rest of the episode highlights the major failing of the Jaffa. Their desire to retain all the rites and ways of 'their people'. Rites and ways that were invented by the goa'uld to enslave and manipulate them. A failing that makes them easy to manipulate as Imhotep does here, and the Ori do later.

This is a refreshingly well written episode. And all around well acted. Rick Worthy is a delightful guest star.

The look on everyone's faces after Carter demonstrates the P90 is priceless.

The episode does have some low points, but still a great episode.

I remembered really disliking this episode, but I actually got into it this time around. It's rare to see tension between Teal'c and O'Neill, so it stands out. Mostly I was won over by how damn charismatic Rick Worthy is, what a voice. The use of awful bullet-time spinning cameras has always bugged me though.
