Haha, just when I thought "What's up with Tanner being always at the neighbor's house? Is he's an orphan or something?" And we get his lame dad. I hate it when parents appear when the "children" are grown-ass adults (I mean, I think Ryan already has some silver in his hair too) with lives, jobs and being self-sufficient and say "you're my kid". NOW you remember?!
When there's no financial responsibility, or any other. Same goes for some grandparents. Easy to "have" a grown child. Agh, hate that.

Love the emerging competition between Andy and Maya, It's realistic (though some parts of the show are not) that ambitious girls might start having these conflicts, that some of them always considered a leader, and at some point the "weaker" realizes she can take it up as well. Want to see how it goes.

Loved Jack and Miller's dynamic. Miller probably had a better family, and perhaps he feels uncomfortable about his money (or people wanting to hang out with him only because his beachhouse and stuff).

So the series aren't a masterpiece, but just like GA, it lures you in and makes you feel for the characters.
