I started watching Street Outlaws awhile back, then got interested in Fast 'N' Loud. I have to admit, after watching the build-up to the so-called "Mega Race", I essentially lost any "respect" (although in all truth, you can't truly "respect" a person you don't even know) I had for this so-called "Chief" or "Big Chief" or whatever he calls himself. His petulant attitude about the entire thing proves that he had no interest whatsoever in Street Outlaws beating Fast 'N' Loud ... or "Midwest Street Racing" beating "Gas Monkey Garage". All he wanted to do was outdrive Richard Rawlings and it was plain to see that it was pure jealousy: "He's got a bunch of money and I don't so I want to outdrive him on a racetrack so that will make everyone think I'm better than him." What a crock of hooey. On one thing, though, I agree completely with Chief: What a total waste of time on everyone's part simply because one insecure Okie can't accept the fact that a rich, loud (let's face it: Richard Rawlings is loud and brash) Texan refuses - and rightfully so - to put his own life - and that of many others - at risk by stepping into a high-performance vehicle that he's not trained, qualified, or licensed to drive. So yeah...huge disappointment in this particular segment of both shows because one insecure guy couldn't swallow his pride and actually race "his team" against "their team". This was all a purely egotistical build-up by Chief and he wasted a LOT of peoples' time, energy, and money simply because of his insecurity. Hey, Chief, I saw you standing around a whole lot while everyone else was building your race car; how much of it did YOU actually build? Yeah, I didn't think so. Total waste of MY time even watching this.
