They certainly front loaded the series with some great supporting talent. I was pleasantly surprised to see Scott Patterson (GILMORE GIRLS), Laura Vandervoort (SMALLVILLE and SUPERGIRL) and Canadian acting royalty Tom Jackson. The pace of the series is slow and the writing and acting seems to be missing a director but Nova Scotia was the draw and she’s performing splendidly. It’s a wait and see for me. I hope it is more than just a slow burn seasonal romance which seems to be the genre of Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray (ONE TREE HILL). After this pilot, I give the series a (fair) out of 10.
