Yeah not that great of a season. Especially considering how Season 9 ended.
But Felicia Day.. And Fan Fiction! So I'll take it.
Hopefully season 11 will be better.

i hate rowena with a passion. not just like "oh she's a villan" she's ANNOYING. the ending of this season felt so rushed, like nothing was happening for forever and then suddenly everything's being done in 2 episodes

This season must be the weakest. Even weaker than S6.
Crowleys mother, Rowena, is freakishly annoying and I can't understand why usually rather smart people become stupid and play along with her manipulations other than plot device reasons. We need drama between the Winchesters? Let's have her trash talk them, so they start to fight each other over nonsense again.
This season does have some good episodes but in the end are destroyed or overshadowed by apperances of Rowena, her being a central part or Metatron. Killing of cannonfodder characters to fill an episode included - based on stupidity, let's leave this save place alltogether instead of going to another room where I am alone, so the bad guys can kill me.
All while Dean becomes an assh*le. He always had these tendencies but in this season he's simply a jerk and the reasoning is the Mark of Cain. That would be acceptable but sadly this is only used if an episode needed to be filled or to have a plot to begin with.
Because filler episodes seems to be the main drive for this whole season.
