i love how they use back in black again as they're driving in the start of the episode to relate to the start of the show when sam and dean were just starting off. symbolises a new beginning.
This was a interesting and important episode. The question on what they kill and why will come up many times. It had Amber Benson (Tara from Buffy) as Lenore the vampire and Ty Olsson as Eli the vampire. Ty comes back in season 8 as Benny the vampire.
Gordon was a sociopath. He just found a semi acceptable outlet. He was still a sick bastard.
I love the fact that this episode shows that not everything supernatural is evil and Sam and Dean are finally finding that out
again another reminder from the spn writers that humans can be just as fucked up as monsters, and hunters are no exception.
also loved that tara cameo (i miss watching buffy)
god why is it always sam getting kidnapped...
Did Dean get his car keys back from Gordon?
Good Vampires now who don't kill humans??
How many damn times does Sam get kidnapped?? Geez!!

REWATCH
I remembered the first time fangirling about a former member of the Buffy gang being a vampire lol
Here's when things start to get complicated, with Sam rethinking their whole lifestyle and Dean with his fear of having become a hateful killer... my poor baby
