So this season is really on two different spectrums, and once again proves that the best winners often don't make for the best television. I LOVE Boston Rob. Boston Rob played an amazing game, arguably one of the greatest games ever, but it made for a boring season. He clamped down his alliance with impeccable strategy, won four individual immunities, and had a hidden idol. Once we hit the merge there was really only one week where they could have voted Rob out, and he used the opportunity to flip on his biggest ally. His individual camera shots portrayed exactly what he was doing and he manipulated them all beautifully. Redemption Island was a pretty cool twist and Matt dominated over there. Matt dominating actually may have been the most exhilarating part of every episode. Anyways, outside of Rob and Matt, the Survivor world got the privilege of watching the Special Agent Phil for 39 days and being introduced to Andrea who would be on for many more seasons. While this season is forgettable, it is one to check out if you are a Boston Rob fan!

Watching Boston Rob steamroll to the end was great gameplay, but incredibly boring. He was the only person I liked that season. I also liked The Specialist.

While watching through all of the seasons, I was told that this was definitely one of the worst. I'm a completionist, so therefor, I did not want to skip. Over all, this season was not TERRIBLE, but them bringing back Boston Rob and Russell was not exciting, in the least. I was worried that Russell was going to try and sneak his way to the top 3 (as he did his prior 2 seasons), but thankfully was sent to exile and ultimately got the boot. Russell being gone gave me hope, BUT after Rob started to gain some momentum throughout the show, I KNEW he was going to get to the top 3 and win the entire season. It was very stupid for them to keep Rob, and they had EVERY chance to blind-side him, but they literally rolled out a red carpet and let him win. Why??? You know how he plays so why take the chance? Very stupid. As much as I dislike Rob in the game, and as much as I didn't want him to win, he deserved it.
