One of the dumbest tribes I’ve ever seen during Tribal Council
Decent start to the season. Enjoyed the way they hidden the idol. No early favorites for me yet.
Not a great opener. Survivor has become such a different game. I wish they dumped the journey to the island stuff. It's always where I zone out.
Some of the advantages are interesting but get back to basics.
Also Matthew climbing the rock was dumb.
Early favourites are Frannie, who they showed a lot of and Danny.
Absolutely baffling gameplay, have these people watched Survivor before? Three people DECIDING not to vote with an idol in play and suspicion of an advantage? How is Jaime so paranoid already? How did nobody convince her that playing a shot in the dark will spook Brandon to play the idol? How is Lauren feeling so secure to bank a vote already? And are they both not part of a blindside plan on Brandon? How are you going to blindside somebody with TWO votes thrown at them? Why is Matthew not feeling safe? And why is he risking his life in the first hour of the game climbing a freaking rock for nothing? Is Matthew the first Officially Dumb Player of Survivor 44? Points to Claire for planting the seed about the journey during the challenge. And I like the idea of the cage. Too bad the "journey" business has become an even dumber gimmick that before, let's see how that plays out.

I hate when contestants go on these boat trips with the possibility of getting an advantage… and their tribemates are gobsmacked and insulted when they come back not telling them the absolute truth of all that transpired. Like, seriously?
And, as much as I still love this show, the puzzles are getting more and more overkill. Both challenges had a puzzle. Bring back the eating challenges!
