Perfectly dark, gross and creepy. With likable leads. Oh and definitely not campy. Like the 80’s movies. I do wish Down on the Bayou was the opening credits song though.
It’s just less interesting when we get some backstory on Abby.
I may be biased here, but I love Crystal Reed. Was deeply saddened when she was killed off of Teen Wolf. I thought the first episode showed promise. The ending was intense and I can’t wait to see what comes next.
Boring and predictable. The lead characters are all over the map with the little personality they have. They crammed the beginnings of so many story arches into one episode.
Awesome! I love it! Great special effects!
I found the main actress very weak, like she didn't belong in there, the immersion wasn't present. And the clichés about white people doing stupid things in thriller/horrors movies are true in the show, it's disappointing
that was AMAZING. I did even expect Alec to be shot like that or even to be swamp thing. they did a great job keeping swamp thing reveal secret until the end.
I was not sure what to expect with this show. Episode 1 was really good. Enough creepiness, scares and drama. Good writing so far and I like what I have seen of the characters so far. Not sure why this was cancelled already, but I will continue watching for now.
How do I watch the movie
Was about to invest some time into this show, because I liked the first episode, and it was dark. But not now, they already canceled it. Didn't even give it a chance.
I have to be honest, I was bored all the time. There was some decent scenes with creepy stuff but not enough for me. I'm out.
PS: The effects were pretty good, but it was SO dark it would have been hard to mess it up.
I always enjoyed the original movie, and I expected some changes but like Philip Philippidis commented here, changing the origin story completely for no good reason? WTF? I do hope that this show does get really good however, I'm crossing my fingers! Lol
Good start to the series. It showed promise for the show and episodes to come.
mhmh promising but not as good as the doom patrol start. we'll see.
like the 80s movie and 90s Show though
Fantastic and very intriguing! Great script, acting and set design.

Irreprehensibly bad writing. They clearly did very little to no research on how the CDC operates (or any hospital for that matter). The police response was equally bad. If they were going for this level of gross incompetence and unprofessionalism, they should've placed it in the '70s. Crystal Reed's character is smug and unlikable. All the stupid horror cliches are present, including jumpscares and people making stupid decisions. Plus, they changed the origin story completely for no good reason.
