Jakob’s storyline is the saddest and most heartbreaking thing ever :(
I was wrong, THIS episode, not the previous one, completes the circle... completes the loop.
Sarah: "What did you think?"
Cole: "It was sad."
Sarah: "...and beautiful."
Cole: "Sure, that too."
At the core, this show is about what makes us human, about anguish, envy, loss, sacrifice, love... I swear Loretta's family got put through the ringer, Loretta especially, she suffered SO much.
As slow (understatement) as this series is, I don't regret watching it. Worth the time, and the tears.
I feel like they missed their shot. I see what they tried to do with the universe, the different stories etc, but ultimately they failed a few things and got a lot of issues with rythmes.
They also absolutely haven't talked about anything underground. Like ok you want to keep the mystery but come on, let us see how they work, what they are trying to understand etc...
Also, I was really thinking we would get to see why and how they created the loop.
Anyway, I loved how they told the stories of the characters, I loved the universe full of possibilities, but the rest was a meh, I don't regret watching it, but I wouldn't really recommend it either...
