The couples fly to mainland Fiji, where they have their final dinner and their final night together before coming face to face with the singles. They part with their partners and get to know the single men/women with whom they will be spending the next 12 days. As the night goes on, the 4 women party into the night, and their male partners realize that this is going to be a tough period of separation and temptation.
A ‘Singles Pageant’ is held, where the singles introduce themselves. The men vote off 1 single male, and the women vote off 1 single female. At the 1st bonfire, the women are asked to pick from 4 videos, from which they will get to see 1. They pick the 1 with Clinton being pursued by 2 women, but Piaf says she is fine with it since he did not appear to be reciprocating. Nick says he cannot even imagine what is ahead, while Kynan confesses he's falling in love with Liana more and more each day. Warren declares that Alana is the girl that he loves and will marry –after which he sees Alana on tape leaving her room with 1 of the single men. Clinton says he likes single Georgina best, while Georgina recalls that they may have kissed the night before. Cassie declares that she will block all the thoughts in her head about Nick and concentrate on having fun. Liana decides that if the men are going to cheat on them, then they are not worth it.
The single men are taken to the island of the male half of the couples, and the single women are taken to the island of the female half of the couples. While they are there, they decide which single person their partner may not date, and pick the one they will go out with on their 1st date. While the men are with the male half of the couples, Kynan is passed a note by 1 of the singles; they are caught and chaos ensues. It is threatened that 1 couple could be kicked off for their behavior. This is how the selection process goes: • Nick cannot date single Kirstie, so he picks single Jasmine for a date. • Kynan cannot date single Merrida, so he goes on a date with single Kyly. • Warren cannot date single Lauren; he is still shaken by the footage he saw at the bonfire. • Clinton cannot date single Joanna, so he goes on a date with single Georgina. He says Georgina tempts him and it worries him as he has not known her for very long and he feels a connection. • Cassie cannot date single Big Adam, she chooses single Ryan for a date instead. • Liana is supposed to go out with single Dave, but she refuses until she is told that she will not be kicked off of the island. • Alana cannot date single Pern. She goes on a date with single Little Adam. She thinks he was picked because Warren thought that they would have fun. She had fun, but thought that he was too young. • Piaf cannot date single Big Adam, and she goes on a date with single Daniel instead…but she thinks of Clinton the entire time.
All of the male partners of the 4 couples expect to see video messages from their mates, and the host tells them that the singles are allowed to vote 1 couple off the show. At the same time, another male and female single is voted off the island. The singles are asked if they wish to vote a couple off the show, but the response is ‘no’. The guys pick their next dates. The rules are that they are not able to date someone they have already been on a date with, or someone they have been blocked from dating. Warren misses Alana, while Clinton cannot hide his affection for single Georgina and feels bad about it because of Piaf. Cassie, too, misses her boyfriend, and she goes on a date with single Jay. Liana goes on a date with single Pern, and Alana develops a growing attraction to single Dan. Piaf is missing her boyfriend Clinton and she sees the growing attraction between him and single Georgina. She doesn't feel very good about it since she was the one who picked the date for him in the first place. She goes on a date with single Matt and there is a strong connection between them.
The couples have another bonfire where they all must watch the tapes, and they are allowed to ask their mates questions if they wished. They go on another date with the singles, this time picking their own partners. The only rules are that the single cannot be someone they have been out with before, or blocked from dating. Nick feels at comfortable with the clip that he sees of Cassie. He goes on a date with single Sandra. Cassie cannot wait to see Nick, and she too, isn’t worried about the clip she sees. Kynan likes singles Kyly and Kristie, and picks Kirstie for his date. Liana sees a tape of 1 of the singles saying that there is a potential for romance with Kynan. Warren sees Alana on tape saying that she has made a connection with single Dan. He goes on a date with single Joanna. Alana feels ok with the clip that she sees, and she goes home with Dan and spends time with him late into the night. Single Ryan tells Alana that if there was a couple who was going to be voted off, it would be her and hero man Warren. Clinton sees Piaf seeking comfort in another man, single Matt, and goes on a date with single Tessa. Piaf sees clips of Clinton kissing and talking about single Georgina.
Nick sees a video of a guy talking about how great Cassie is. Cassie gets closer to single Jay and the cameras catch her in bed with him late into the evening. Kynan sees a video of a single saying that he is getting along with Liana very well. Liana sees a video of a single saying that Kynan has not spoken about Liana and has only thought of Liana for a total of 10 minutes during their entire separation. She is fine with it - because at least he is thinking of her. Warren opts out of going to the bonfire, as he is not feeling very well. Alana is now inseparable from single Dan. She too, is caught by the camera with single Dan in her room late at night. Clinton says that he wants to dump Piaf and be with single Georgina. He knows that Piaf will see footage of him and single Georgina, and get upset. He sees a video of single Matt saying he would gladly be with Piaf if she were genuine in her intentions. Piaf gets a message from Clinton asking her about her relationship with single Matt. She doesn't even finish watching and storms off. She responds in a message to Clinton telling him that she still loves him, but has heard that he was confused...
There is another vote off and another bonfire. Nick confesses how lucky he is to be with Cassie. Then he sees her in bed with single Jay at the bonfire. He says the line has not been crossed yet but sends her a questioning message asking her why she was in bed with single Jay. Cassie says that Jay was only there because she wasn't feeling well and he was comforting her. Kynan is not bothered by the clip he sees of a single hugging Liana. Liana, too, is cool when she sees Kynan walking into a room with 2 singles and close the door behind them. Warren feels confident about his relationship with Alana but gets a rude shock when he sees the bonfire clip of single Dan coming out of her room. He sends Alana a video message to ask her what was going on. Alana says that she and single Dan were just talking, and although there was a moment that could have gotten more intimate, she didn't let that happen because she loves Warren. Clinton says that a passionate kiss would be breaching the line of trust. He sees single Matt and Piaf together and can see their visible connection. Piaf sees Clinton hugging and cuddling with single Georgina and realises that she and Clinton now have a lot of issues to be resolved.
The blocks are finally off and the group date the next day takes on a new level of naughty fun. Nick sees Cassie playing in the water with a single. The single starts kissing her leg, and Nick is alright with that but adds that it does plant the seeds of doubt. Cassie is ok with Nick asking the question. She says that she is innocent and this whole thing is stupid. Kynan sees a clip of single Jay going home with Liana. Liana in turn, sees Kynan walking down the beach with a single, holding hands. Warren says their relationship will go 1 of 2 ways; on or off. He retreats indoors. Alana is initially fine explaining to Warren the clip he saw. But she ends up quite upset and refuses to join in the date picking for the day. Clinton decides that he will take single Georgina on the dream date. He sees footage of Piaf and what could be seen as single Matt, kissing her or her pulling away from his kiss. Piaf is pissed about the video message from Clinton asking about single Matt, when he is doing worse things on the other side of the island.
Together, the 4 couples and their chosen partner will be whisked off on an exclusive getaway with just the right conditions for love to blossom. But will loyalty to their partners prevail, or will temptation get the better of them? Nick sees Cassie's response to his message and is happy about it. He picks single Alice for his dream date, and Cassie surprisingly picks single Tristan over Jay to be hers. Kynan picks single Kyly for the dream date, to no one’s surprise – he’s long since realised what a fan he has in her. Liana picks single Dave for the dream date. Warren is elated to hear Alana's explanation. He picks single Lauren for the dream date, the girl whom Alana had initially barred him from dating. Alana wishes that Warren had kissed someone as well, so that she would not have to feel guilty. She picks single Little Adam for the dream date. She doesn't want to spend the night alone with single Dan. Clinton is upset at not getting a response to his question from Piaf. He now thinks that he made the wrong decision with single Georgina. He stops speaking with her and tells her he does not have time for her. He completely ignores her. Clinton takes single Tess on the dream date. He cannot wait to see Piaf. He thanks single Georgina for helping him realize that Piaf is the one for him. Piaf is the only girl who sticks to her guns and takes single Matt on the dream date.
The final dates end and it’s finally time for the 4 couples to reunite. Nick says that he has not been tempted and that his feelings for Cassie have only grown stronger. Cassie says that she made some good friends on Temptation Island, but is in love with Nick. Kynan says that he has never felt anything for any of the singles and he that he missed Liana. Liana, too, missed him terribly and wants to be together with him. Warren says that he and Alana have issues to work out. Alana knows that if she explains, he may or may not take her back. She wishes she could take back that kiss, but she can't. Warren will not have his heart broken again and he asks Alana to marry him. Clinton reflects that all of the attention was very overwhelming the 1st few days. He admits that single Georgina was a complete package and he felt as though he was falling in love with her. He admits that seeing the clips of Piaf and single Matt made him jealous. But will Piaf take Clinton back now?
It has been 6 months since the filming of Temptation Island. Nick and Cassie are now living together and are very much in love. Warren and Alana have broken off their engagement and are no longer together. Warren says that he has forgiven Alana for her indiscretion with single Dan, and he wishes that everyone else would get over it as well. They say that they broke up as a mutual decision and only a bit of it had to do with the show. They are not seeing other people. Alana says that she needs some time on her own. Kynan and Liana are no longer together. They say it was not completely because of the show. Since they were together for over four years, they are both taking some time on their own and are not with anyone else. They say it is too soon to say if they will reconcile. Clinton and Piaf are not together, and according to Piaf, they are not even really friends. He has been on one date with single Georgina since the show, but there is nothing going on with them. Both Clinton and Piaf are single.
