Mesmerising, I found this really engaging. You can detect the little tensions between them, and seeing the songs come together never gets old. Can't wait to watch the rest.

This is the new gem's Peter Jackson.
All Beatle's fans will dive in it, and will thank Peter Jackson.

This episode was interesting but after 45 minutes became boring. Yes, it was nice to see the Fab Four rehearsing, but all the distraction of poor quality recording of spoken words, not to mention the white on almost white subtitles made it torture to watch.

The content is fantastic, but WHY oh why has Peter Jackson become obsessed with the absolutely photography-destroying DNR technology? The picture looks horrible here. All natural detail washed away, fake sharpening, and it doesn't help that they also cropped the image to widescreen, which just makes all of the alterations so much more noticeable. I thought it was bad with the Lord of the Rings 4K discs (especially Two Towers) but this is just completely atrocious. Somebody seriously needs to stop Mr. Jackson from ruining more film. The editing, the sound, and the footage used here is great, but somebody needs to take this horrible DNR tech away from Peter. It does nothing but ruin film.
