I cant remember how things play out within the context in the season, but they should have continued down the pathway of Raj and Stewart having platonic friendship that develops into something more. Raj's eventual endgame takes too long and is pointless. This would have at least been better.
It's funny how Mrs Wolowitz doesn't want Howard to leave when a few seasons earlier she wanted him to leave at all cost
