I liked this first season a lot. Very witty and funny. As most people, I dove into this show thanks to Sandra Oh but I stayed for lots of other reasons. Bill and Ju Ju's combo is a win for me. Joan gets better the more you know her and Ji-Yoon's father is the embodiment of tenderness. I would love to watch a second season in which Joan walks into the spotlight since she is now the chair.
An oddly flat ending to the season. Its a wonderfully crafted show with a great cast and an ambitious lot of content to try and cover. It just felt too short to actually achieve any of it so far. Like it should have either been condensed down into a movie or had some of these arcs spread out over a longer season(s). I'd be interested in seeing more of these characters and actors.
This show is just so adorable to me. It covers so many important subjects, and in such tender and sensitive manner. I think shows of this kind can change the world on the long run, specifically for their tenderness. I really hope for Season 2, I feel SO invested in this, and seeing Joan as chair may be amazing, awesome character and actress. And I like Eliot too, despite his rigidity (although he's much softer at heart than he let on).
And Yaz stays? That remained unclear to me.
I love literature and the discussion of its meaning to people, especially young ones in the present world. There was something real about that show, I hope they'll keep it for future season(s).
Was not good at all... before it was better but after all u can watch it.

A good run for a first season. Episodes aren't too long, and the content within makes you push to watch more and more. Loved the characters and look forward to what season 2 brings.
