This was an okay introductory episode to the series, giving us a lot of background into the life of Cid Kagenou before he was isekai'd into a new world. Honestly, i wasn't too impressed by the animation or story-line with this premiere, the main character Cid just felt like an edgelord who looks down on his normal life, the fighting sequences were nothing to write home about, and i barely have any interest in this magic world the main character has been isekai'd too. Though I may be writing off the show too quickly, while I didn't enjoy this episode the later episodes likely won't be focusing on Cid's life in modern-day Japan as he fights criminals in the shadows and wishes for inhumane levels of strength.

Really interesting first episode. They literally spent the whole episode building shit up before he even got isekai'ed where none of it basically didn't matter... But it was fucking dope as shit. Lol. I'm looking forward to how this turns out. The order is kind of out of sorts showing the full complement of chicks but I hope they start from the beginning and build all of it up properly. We've got 20 episodes so hopefully this rocks out. Already looking pretty good.
