a Finale, a bit underwhelming wasn't it?
I'm in consensus with others that the season finale was disappointing. This show is pitched almost as if a gender swapped Blacklist, but we learn her motivations very early on for the things she does. That's all fine and dandy but when they portray Shepherd throughout the season as "you don't know whose side she's really on", it's horribly disappointing in the way that the season finale played out. I wished she would have actually been a baddie, that there isn't some mysterious higher up who is an even bigger baddie than Tal. They worked so hard throughout the season to make Shepherd a sympathetic and likable main character. Instead I wish i was watching her villain origin story.
Disappointing season finale. It would've been better if it ended with her and Mikhail on the same side, being the last ones standing and then teaming up in the second season. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
