Finally the show has ended... loved watching it... gonna start re watch if i ever get bored... but i think Wally West/Kid Flash should have deserved to be in the last episode...

The proof that this tv show got really bad is that it would be impossible to have 9 seasons with this kind of quality. Watching this series went from being a good time to a challenge.
Don't say that the superhero genre is dying, bad writing is trying to kill it for a long time.

The arrowverse is officially over now. A huge part of my life for years but it was about time based on the quality of this episode. Still a decent ending.

(also crazy to see Jess Chambers in live action shame its in the last minute of the entire show lol)

I feel soo bad for Grant , my dude imbodied the perfect flash , but the writers didn't even want to give him the perfect finale in own show . Such a terrible ending to such a great legacy created by Grant Gustin.

I started watching tv shows with the flash, at that I loved it. I've grown and now I think it's not good now.
But I realized one thing now, This whole show is only for the guy who watched it 9 years ago, not for me now.
Anyway, Thank god it ended, I hated the seasons and last few episodes. That's the sign of my growth I guess.
Thank you for being part of my life Flash. I want to thank Blake Neely for the amazing music.

Thank goodness it's finally over.
I really enjoyed the show for the first 2-3 seasons, after that, the writing just killed it. It's been a pain to watch, but I almost always finish the series when I start. This has been really difficult, as some characters were just terribly written, and the overall story and plot points often don't make any sense or aren't coherent in any way.
Luckily I won't have to keep up with it anymore.
Grant and Danielle tried their best and their talent was the only thing keeping me from not quitting, I hope they get much better projects in the future.

At least we don't have to continue to watch this show being a shadow of its former self

One pep talk to end all pep talks. This train wreck has finally arrived at its final stop. So long, The Flash.
Now onto rewatching season 1 to leave things on a good note.

For those of you who love wokeness, this is the end result of the madness. I honestly can't imagine how they messed up such a good show and made it into such a mess. Went from a 10/10 to a -10/100000

At least arrow stayed watchable and had a decent ending, this was just madness with the budgets these shows get.

loading replies

Well, it's finally ended... It started great...ended...a bit subpar. Glad to see Tom Cavangh back. It could've been worse, I guess. Grant Gustin gave us the best Flash, regardless of how lackluster it got near the end. Here's to the better years.

loading replies

It's better they finished the show, the quality in last 2-3 seasons was terrible

loading replies

The series did not end with a bang. The side characters storylines were really boring. All in all, it was just ok.

loading replies

there was a time when this show was about The Flash, but at some point it became about pushing an agenda, and as a result, Team Flash grew to include more and more characters who were simply there to tick a box. female characters in particular were more of a focus than the male ones and were, more often than not, more powerful. Cecile started out as simply Joe's girlfriend but was given powers and also given more screentime than him. she eventually got so powerful, she was practically a Mary Sue. the final episode was terrible, Eddie Thorne assembles a team of speedsters to fight The Flash and his allies, only for every single one to get beaten easily by the female members of the team. so glad this show is finally over, it's been a shadow of it's former self for so long now

As far as series finales go, this one was, well, ok.

loading replies

Thank god, it's over.

I will miss what the Arrowverse was at its best, But now it is time for it to rest, perhaps after the writers strike some new, exciting, different and good scripted drama will replace it.

And one day, maybe a new DC TV universe can rise.

loading replies

The pep talk adventures are over!
To think the writers are in strike when they produce crap like this is a joke. Maybe if they earn their worth they will get better pay. I waited 9 years for this piece of crap. What a waste.

loading replies

Definitely a bittersweet ending.

I’m glad it’s over don’t get me wrong, but I’ll definitely miss seeing the flash and his team and all of their adventures.

Nothing will ever be able to beat the first few seasons tho

loading replies

Thank you Flash for so many years. I loved the first of them, the last few were a bit difficult. Anyway, I‘ll remind your show as one of the best of its kind back in that time.

I was hoping Chester died, they needed to lose someone. As a fan of the earlier seasons, I wanted the episode just to end.
It went on 11 minutes after the Barry and Iris montage that I was hoping was the end. The movie that gets crapped on was so much better.

I rolled my eyes so many times during this finale, not even sure who wrote this mess, full of cliché and nonsense... at least out of its misery and finally over.

Even thou this finale was sub-par, I enjoyed the flash over the years and glad we got closure.

loading replies

I really enjoyed that finale. While I agree it wasn't on par with earlier seasons, it was not as bad as last season and it had the right balance of old characters, dramatic timing and humour.

I loved the end of the episode where three new speedsters were revealed which probably went over the head of many people. It kept it open for the possibility of one day having a Flash Family show with new characters if DC ever decide to go there, while also saying goodbye and homage to the comics.

As for all the whiners saying thank god it's over; no one forced you to keep watching if it was that painful for you.

loading replies

A legacy has ended. The only thing I regret is the bad writing. It would be impossible to have another season with this kind of quality.

loading replies

I don't know why I was still watching, it felt more like an obligation. But still will miss it a little after 9 years of Arrowverse. Except Superman & Lois, there isn't really something to watch anymore if you like superheroes.

loading replies

Finally this show is out of its misery. It was really enjoyable the first few seasons but it never came close again. Still those first few years wear mighty entertaining. But having only seen the Flash of the Arrowverse I don't feel the urge to go back and watch another show from this universe. Hopefully Grant Gustin will get another nice project to work on. I did really enjoy him.

loading replies

It was a nice goodbye.
A somewhat weak action/conflict episode, with multiple super-bads (some of whom individually once stymied the team for most of a season) defeated far more quickly and easily than they ever were or should have been.
But at least it included a fairly nice goodbye; better than some.

Edit: Turns out there're other reasons for at least some of this last season's choppy abbreviated feel: https://ew.com/tv/the-flash-showrunner-reveals-everything-cut-from-final-season/ :disappointed:

This show started with good stories you could be transported by, and well developed characters that you cared about. the last 5 years gave me stories that put me to sleep, made me dislike characters that I loved (like Iris and Joe), and not care one bit about new ones they introduced. it's an indictment of the lack of talent that the creators/writers actually had once they lost the crutch of a couple of famous storylines from the comics. it's typical of Berlanti, he gave the exact same slow death to Arrow, Legends, Supergirl and Flash. and people wanted him to run the DCEU I'm glad it's over. Grant deserved a heck of a lot better in the end.

loading replies

It's over. I made it till the end. Almost lost me a couple seasons ago but I needed a show that still hadn’t gone full blown woke. Thank you for 9 seasons. Even though they couldn't all be winners you gave us plenty worth re-watching over and over again. ☮ out!

Caitlin's third personality reminds me of a historical drama I watched before where the female lead also had two personalities that wanted to merge. In an unstable state, a third personality would emerge, but it was in a state of insanity. The Red Death has a feeling of Ultron-like.
