I am really confused about the whole Maktel/Selim Paşa storyline. The Selim Paşa I remember is the one who had a daughter that was maybe into journalism?! (I don't recall what happened to him) but he seems different than the Selim Paşa they showed in the flashback. And also the one they showed seemed older than Maktel, but then again why would Mehmet lie?
