I really enjoyed season 1 of this show, but so far, season 2 has been way worse. The first half of this episode seemed to be continuing that trend, but the second half picked up. Hopefully we're all good for the rest of the season!

The scene between Uhtred and Hild is one of the sweetest I have seen on any tv-show in a while. I was disappointed at first that Hild and Uhtred don't become lovers as in the books, but now I'm glad. Their deep bond and friendship is much more important and better.

Finally a good a episode, although the pacing takes some time getting used to.

This shows pacing is insane. I think close to a year was supposed to pass during this episode, and it flits through it without digging in. The loss of Halig would have been heartbreaking if we had spent time with him, and the slave killing the slaver could have had far more impact.

At the same time, the speed at which the story moves means it's never dull.

i'm not much of a person that'll cry at just anything but i got weirdly super emotional over Uhtred this episode. Testament to good writing and characterization i suppose.

Damn, Alfred is such a dick.

This show is way too fast. At least give Iceland one full episode.

Guthred is a stupid king and can easily be manipulated by Eadred, but it's a good thing he's dead.
He walks there like a saint with his cross but is evil himself.
Uhtred must do his best to get rid of Alfred.
Eadred played in the series The Rope of the Dead, where he also played the evil man.
He does have his appearance.
On to part 4 :)

Just the right cockey attetude and heart from the main caracter .I'm invested in this show.My heart breaks for him every time he is sad. The banter between caracter is witty and makes you laught loud .Can there be a 3rd season, can't wait and it's worth the wait every season.
