Who would have known? Alice actually brought Q back!... But not quite. He was more of nephew to her than a boyfriend. Those last couple of minutes of them together were beautifully sad and only made me miss Q&A even more.
Two things annoyed me, though... They seem to keep adding mysteries without solving the ones already established. Case in point, I'm still awfully curious about Penny's mind signal that triggered his instant travel to the unknown, but this episode developed jack shit on that and brought us the "who wants Kady's mind wiped out?" mystery (with a sneaky memory zombie magician ninja assassin thrown into the mix). It's not that I don't want more mysteries — I love 'em! — it's just that I don't like it when they keep piling up on top of one another. Speaking of which, what did Eliot write in that letter to Quentin?! I know, I know, gotta be patient about all of these mysteries...
The other thing that annoyed me... I guess the romance between Margo and Josh is back in fashion? I still really don't feel the chemistry (or lack of) between those two. Eliot is right, Margo is Margo when she's a free spirit, not a housewive. But the brighter side of that is that we get the Fillory gang back together again! Yay! Fillory may have got a little less mysterious, now, but it sure got a whole lot more exciting!
And finally — stop the presses! —, is David Copperfield an actual magician?! * MIND BLOWN *
BABY QUENTIN! Protect him at all costs!

Well Alice's plan went much better than I though.
And Margo managed to find a solution that should actually work out well. Until Elliot messes things up that is... :o If he throws in that latter things might go real south real fast.
