I actually really enjoyed this. Yeah, nostalgia played a part but there's something so fun about an underdog story. This felt like the properties I would watch in the 90s, as a kid growing up. The show doesn't overdo it's welcome. However be prepared, it's a tad on the young side at times.

My only issues is, I'm not sure how this team is going to come together to actually beat the others. It seems less likely than the original Ducks team. Big fan of Brady Noon - he's a good lead.

Not bad, I'm intrigued enough to keep watching.

The first trailer for this series gave me "Cobra Kai" vibes, but I knew that it wouldn't be on the same level as that show because Disney is very hands-on with their content and likes to keep things family friendly. I was right to think that way, because this show feels very sterile (so far). I understand that it's a show for kids, and their parents who grew up liking the Mighty Ducks. I like the main kid, Lauren Graham is obviously great, and what more can I say about Emilio?! But some of the supporting cast members got on my nerves QUICK. The teammate kid who has a podcast dropped some funny one-liners, but I got annoyed with his dialogue at times.

We'll see how it goes from here. If anything, I hope that this show generates more interest in hockey.

I have to say that I didn't expect I'd like it right away like I did, which makes me hopeful for the whole batch.

The kids all seem like good actors so far while the veterans deliver just what we've come to expect of them. We're off to a very good start.

A fun start. Could be a good show. Let’s see how it progresses.

Reilly finally left LetterKenny Hockey team but he’s kind of an ass on this team.
