Connecting a cable from a rescue beacon to some connectors won't do anything - well, maybe shortcircuit your mobile, but thats about all you can expect.
I would expect the beacon to either run on a cable or run via directional radio.
Either way - it will be compatible with neither the connectors for your SIM, nor the connectors of your accumulator.
This Shows bullshit doesn't stop to amaze...

This episode was kind of a slog... and the writing is also getting a little frustrating.
Character 1: "Why are we running?"
Character 2: "It's hard to explain..."
Character 1: "Ok I won't ask again then"
Like come on. If you want to keep the reason a mystery, fine, but quit having characters ask and not get any answers either!
