they made it obvious that hawkins was dirty which leads me to believe that they're trying to divert our attention away from someone else, possibly farr
I'm already suspecting even my shadow.
My only criticism so far is how calm Rose acts. I mean she had no idea about her aunt and uncle's true identities, she's witness to their murders... still, she's calm and rational and starts investigating herself instead of hiding somewhere. But honestly, does anyone believe that the Night Action line is not under surveillance? And Rose and Peter talk over hours on that line? Pull the other one.
Don't care about the killer-couple, the less time spent on them, the better. But they got rid of the FBI-guy pretty quickly... so who's the guy behind him?
The acting is really horrible.
The acting is horrible. And the dialogues are by far the worse I have seen in a very, very, VERY long time.
It's getting really hard to keep watching it. And the sad part is, the storyline is actually decent, it got me intrigued. But oh my God the dialogues and the acting, and the extremely plain characters. Yeah... I highly doubt I'll watch episode 3.
Why would you try and format the hard drive when you want to get data off of it? That’s really poor writing.
So far only Dale is a somewhat believable character. Everyone else feels unnatural and/or utterly incompetent.
Second episode as tight at the first. I am hooked!
8.5/10
Peter is a really nice guy!
It got intense again when the Secret Service agents were gone and the lights got out. Why would Peter try to take the elevator though if the lights already went out?!? The elevator could still work due to being on another circuit but he'd risk getting stuck inside if they'd cur that circuit as well.
Those double stairs were strange - not sure if I've ever came across this IRL.
Rose formatting that drive was stupid! They almost got a few CLI commands right and showed some nice Linux/terminal content (<3) so why did they make that unnecessary mistake?
Also: Rose wouldn't really need more powerful hardware (either she'd need additional software/backdoors or remote access to a very powerful cluster/supercomputer for expensive burteforce attacks).
Also: Quite a few nice lines, e.g.:
"That's Hawkins chair."
"You're my boss now, phone boy?"
"Please?"
[...]
"Can't tell you, it's above your clearance?"
"You remembered this number?"
And Peter revealing that the line doesn't have to be kept open (duh) xD
I'm surprised though that they don't seem worried that their flirt is (likely) getting recorded.
"I was the boss and I let a friend betray me."
[...]
"Peter, I'm so lonely, all the time."
Their "flirt" got so intense that I almost thought that Rose would invite Peter over right now... :o :D
"Should I charge you rent?"
[...]
"Good, you forming a connection, could be valuable."
Hah :D I don't think Diane Farr realized how good their connection already is... xD
"I'm out [of bullets]"
[...]
"It's gonna be fine, take my hand."
"Your turn."
"I wanna get these motherfuckers."
The discussion when Peter "wants" to drive.
"And some bullets maybe?"

Do not go in, Peter!
