MY THOUGHTS ON SEASON 2:
-WARNING: Spoilers Below-
I'm going to be honest, I REALLY didn't like this. It was so painful to watch and I really had to force myself to get through this. The only parts keeping me interested in watching Season 3 is how they'll play out Lilith's & Gabrielle's story... We'll get to that later though.
The beginning of this season was okay, really slow but it was watchable. Then it went downhill, every episode was a complete drag to get through. It started looking up when they introduced the second Order, after that the episodes were actually really enjoyable.
With the first few episodes I really didn't appreciate what they done to the Order, I understood the whole taking their memories part but completely ruining their characters was such a bad shout. The only character in The Order that's somewhat fun now is Randall, the rest are so unnecessary at this point. Like, Jack is the most irritating protagonist I have ever laid my eyes on, all he ever does is complain and try and be the good guy for The Order... You're literally a Werewolf, you're meant to destroy The Order? Then there's Hamish. He was one of my favourite characters in Season One and they completely destroyed him. He's gone from badass to following Vera around like a lost puppy?
Now, let's get to Lilith. What happened to her was super interesting. She got taken down to the Demon realm and after months and months of trying to get her back they finally do but she's now clearly a Demon herself? Its pretty obvious she'll be the main Antagonist of Season 3, I'm really curious to see how they'll play off a Demon/Werewolf. This part was one of the redeeming moments for this season.
Now the best part, Gabrielle Dupres! God she is amazing. Season one she was so irritating but now she's a breath of fresh air. She adds so much to this show and honestly without her and Randall I don't see this show lasting too long. The addition of her becoming a Werewolf is pretty damn interesting, i feel like she's going to be the "Big Bad Wolf" of the show and honestly, I feel like she'll not only pull it off but she'll pull it off with style.
Now let's get to the final part, the very last jaw dropping scene of the season. The death of one of the most boring characters written to date, Alyssa! THANK GOD they went with this route. This right here was one of the best calls they have done in this show. All she did this season was add an extra dose of stupidity to it and when your lead character is someone like Jack... You really don't need an Alyssa.
In conclusion Season 3 seriously has to bring something special to the table and it has to be extremely good. Season 2 was such a disappointment especially seeing as how good Season 1 was. I'll give the next season a go but I don't have high expectations for it at all.
It's sad that the second part of this season made me want to track some plots and I started liking some characters like Vera. Itw would be a great show if youd kill off half of the main characters.
The first few episodes were really good, i really like that "were young and rash but we´re wolves so its cool" vibe. But of course we needed some sort of structure to go forward, so we got more lore, more magic and we lost a bit of fun with it, but it´s still good. Overall i think the show has grown, just hope it doesnt lose the college aspect of it otherwise we´ll have kids with no work and skipping class just worried about magic and it becomes silly. There´s actualy a videogame that does school by day and magic by night and it´s really well done, so in case you need a place to go for tips.

There may be aspects that were better in the first season and/or weren't as prominent in this season, but I think this season was much better than the first one. In my defense, I've only watched the first season once, and that was when it was released. So, my recollection of it as a whole is nowhere near as fresh as with this one. Regardless, I genuinely think that this season is better and that I would still think that, perhaps to a stronger extent, if I were to rewatch the first season.
The main issue that people may have with it is that it's chaotic and clustered, or rather, that's what they think. I can see and understand that. If anything, I think the Sons of Prometheus storyline was the weakest one going on, and the weakest point of the season, which was the fifth and sixth episode. But I don't think it's as big of an issue as it may be made out to be. A lot was going on in this season, and there wasn't a main overall storyline, but I think there were more positives than negatives. And when compared to the first season as a whole, it was certainly more enjoyable and immersive.
