You have to appreciate the sheer acting talent on display in this show - I mean, saying "werewolf vampire hybrid" with a straight face is hard at the best of times, but that scene with Hayley sobbing over having to drink Hope's blood? I don't think I could stay that serious.
I was really disappointed with this episode. It didn't seem to fit with the rest of the season and it felt so rushed. Just out of nowhere, everything was fast forward and everything just seemed out of place. Through the entire episode, I thought it was a dream and that someone was going to wake up at some point and be worried but that never happened. It just kept going. Even in the next episode so I felt like I missed something and strongly considered not continuing the series. It was really good until this episode.
Let me add that this episode is a good episode, it just missed a lot of backstory leading up to the events.
I got really confused for a minute as I thought I was watching Game of Thrones. Then I realized it IS GOT, just with vampires in New Orleans. Waiting for the dragons now.
