In the current climate of #MeToo, it's forgotten that the struggle for equality and justice has been on going since the 1970's. But this episodes spotlights such a struggle. It isnt about sexual abuses or misuse of power, but of getting equal opportunities in a male dominated world. What is hard to watch, in my opinion, is the way the more aggressively militant ladies verbally attack the person who, to my 5 year old eyes, is Alfred, Bruce Wayne's butler. (It's like watching the Episode of ER where Bob Newhart is a depressed gentlement who is getting progressively more and more blind, and feels there is only one solution. It is just hard to watch.)
