Good performances and creepy vampires. However the plot of Brad having to protect Amy isn’t as intriguing as they think.
Since she’s written to be the only kid who wouldn’t be missed. The writers definitely need to write her to be special some how. Either that or they just suspect this is another Spring filler show Fox will just cancel. So the plot doesn’t have to be that believable.
I'm glad I was invited to the premiere for this show because I don't think I would've caught it otherwise. I'm really liking the characters and their relationships plus the lore of the show - giving me Daybreakers vibes!
Why would you put them into cages that have bars you can easily fit hands and even heads through? :expressionless: That's such an oversight. Of course it makes for some suspense-moments in the show, but like... really? No one in their right mind would allow for that.

The biggest problem so far is them going after the girl. It would have been way easier for them to just get another kid. There are thousands of kids nobody gives a shit about. Homeless kids and juvenile delinquents abound. 15 minutes in any big city slum and they wouldn't have to leave a trail of destruction that drew attention to them. They would have grabbed a new kid and waited for the right time to get the dude.
I knew they only brought the black lady on to kill her. At least the ex will get away.
