So freaking whimsical and cute! The kids were utterly adorable. I love this type of set up where the leads first meet and connect as kids (reminds me of The King's Affection in that sense). I'm giddy right now and very much looking forward to what'll happen next.
Though, I'll admit, the idea the older court lady implanted in Deok Im's head of her having to strive to become a royal concubine and that being the ultimate goal for a court lady was very awkward. Don't go saying those things to little kids.
And I'm sure the King's mercurial nature will play a role going forward too. He turned on a dime on his grandson. It was super unsettling.
Amazing acting by the child actors and I just hope Lee Se-young atleast gives 10% of what her younger cast did..
I have trust in 2PM Jun-ho to carry the show even if Se-young ruins it for me again !

THIS DRAMA IS SO PLEASURABLY ROMCOM-Y WHAT IF I ACTUALLY LOVE THIS ONE?? (The only three historical kdramas I love currently are Moon Lovers, Moonlight Drawn by Clouds, and Mr. Sunshine — fingers crossed I can add this to the list!)
Also Lee Se-young's acting is so cute! I'm excited to see more~
